Stowe Ski Resort With Snow

Vermont's 10" Storm: A Winter Wonderland at Stowe Ski Resort

Vermont experienced a good sized winter storm that left behind a stunning 10 inches of snow at Stowe Ski Resort. The storm, which hit the region on October 15th & 16th, brought heavy snowfall and strong winds, creating a picturesque winter landscape to this New England town.
.
One of the areas most affected by the storm was the Stowe Mountain Resort, which is nestled in the Green Mountains, Stowe is known for its world-class skiing and snowboarding, and the recent snowfall only added to its charm. The resort, which comprises two mountains, Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak is one of the premiere east coast ski areas

The 10-inch snowfall was a boon for the resort, which had been preparing for the winter season. Although it is still early in the season, one hopes that some of the new snow will stay around to help create a base for the upcoming season.

Not only did Stowe receive its first real accumulation, but so did Killington, Lake Placid and Jay Peak. With ski swaps in full swing it is that time of year to get excited about the upcoming skiing and snowboarding season.
