I had the pleasure of meeting Gary Fisher a few Thanksgiving Day mountain bike rides ago at the top of the famous Cascade aka Repack downhill. Then, I was able to share a beer with him at the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame post Pine Mountain loop ride in Fairfax, CA.
In the world of mountain biking, few names resonate or can equate as Gary Fisher's. He is a great person, he's an icon, he's definitely a trailblazer, and a living legend.
